Salesforce.com use Blacktab to monitor users' use of the app. They track who has logged on, when, for how long and from what device. they also track the activity of users once logged on and use this for Sales and Marketing purposes

Not sure if this is Black Tab but...I could not figure out for months why my attempts to use HTML and VisualForce email templates failed. The only thing that worked was plain text. When I sent things in HTML or VF the email would arrive completely blank except for the Subject. After several tries with the help desk and bouncing around in Tier 1,2 and even 3 at one point someone finally told me that HTML and VF email were not enabled for my ORG and could only be enabled by salesforce! So, if anyone is having a similar problem I would try the blacktab route first.
