Hi – I have created look up relationship between

1. Account – Account
2. Account – Contact
3. Account – Opportunity

I have created Account lookup fileds at Account, Contact and Opportunity Level.

What i want to do is that when i update the lookup field at the account level then lookup fields at the contact and opportunity level should be updated with the same value as at the account level.

Please let me know if this can be achieved.

Yeah, this one turned into a bugaboo for us – we think it actually changed in Winter 10 or the prior release as we actually had code that worked that began failing thereafter.
